Mellon Fellowships



The programme of Mellon Fellowships was established in 1993 by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to enable Bulgarian, Czech, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian and Slovak scholars in the humanities and social sciences to carry out research at advanced study institutes in European countries. NIAS was one of the fourteen institutes participating in the Mellon Fellowship programme.

The programme was discontinued in 2010.
